Spend Sunday afternoon at the barn. Rock the Vote is this Sunday, Oct. 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Barn at Brookside Farm in Niantic, with live music from Steve Elci, Baird Welch-Collins and Hugh Birdsall.

Candidates for state House and Senate will be there for a community conversation, and they want to hear from you. If something's on your mind, this is your chance to say it to the people asking for your vote.

You can also meet folks from the Visibility Brigades, local Indivisible groups, New London Immigrant Defense and the CT Federation of Democratic Women.

It's free, with a suggested $10 donation. Anything left after event costs goes to Brookside Farm. Bring a friend or two.
